1.1 Prohibited

Unless specified within the commodity list below, the Department is unaware of any specific edible non-prescribed goods that are prohibited from export to Taiwan.

1.2 Conditions

Unless specified within the commodity list below, the Department is unaware of any specific requirement for edible non-prescribed goods that are for export to Taiwan. Edible non-prescribed goods usually do not require a certificate for this market. Exporters should ascertain importing country requirements directly with their importer.

Compliance with domestic requirements.

3.1 Government certification

For bulk shipments (150kg or greater) of unrefined edible plant-based oils, use NX188B (NEXDOC) with endorsement 9007:

‘The product is intended to be further refined and is suitable for use in processing of product for human consumption.’

This certification does not apply to a processed plant product that has animal by-product ingredient[s] (e.g. animal fats or oils).

The Department is not aware of other requirements (e.g., labelling). Exporters are encouraged to confirm if any other requirement by contacting their importer or, if needed, the government authority in Taiwan.
