The Department is unaware of any prohibited edible non-prescribed goods for export to Qatar.
1.2. Conditions
Qatar is a member of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which has published a Guide for control on imported foods (PDF 1.7 MB). This guide sets requirements for all edible products imported into Qatar.
2.1 Import permit
The Department is not aware of any import permit requirement for importing almond nuts into Qatar. The Department recommends that exporters work with their importers to determine if an import permit is required.

3.1 Government certification
For export of almond nuts to Qatar, the Health Certificate for Assorted Foods AFQT1 (NEXDOC) with endorsement 9018 is required.

The food product(s) was handled at an establishment that has been subjected to inspections by the competent authority and/or officially recognised body and implements a food safety management system based on HACCP principles or an equivalent system.
