Unless specified within the commodity list below, the Department is unaware of any specific requirement for edible non-prescribed goods* that are for export to Malaysia.
*Importing country requirements for some non-prescribed goods that contain meat, fish, dairy or egg products and animal by-products are covered on the relevant meat, dairy, fish or egg pages in Micor. You should check for importing country requirements there.
For consignments of Acid-hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP) and non-prescribed food products containing HVP, use NX188B (NEXDOC) certificate.
- Note
- The level of 3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol (3-MCPD) in the food products must be indicated on the certificate.
Exporter needs to provide a laboratory report with their application for certification confirming the level of 3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol (3-MCPD) in the food products.
