1.1 Prohibited

The Department is unaware of any prohibited edible non-prescribed goods that are for export to Kuwait.

1.2 Conditions

Kuwait is a member of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which has published a Guide for control on imported foods (PDF 1.7 MB). This guide sets requirements, including certification, for all edible products imported into Kuwait.

Non-prescribed goods do not usually require an export certificate. However, the EX188B certificate (manual) has been used in the past to enable a range of non-prescribed goods to enter Kuwait.

For goods which do require certification at this time, please see the Specific Good sections below.

3.1 Government certification

For consignments of Veal Stock, use EX188M certificate (manual only) with Endorsement 5323.
