The undersigned Official Veterinary Officer of the Veterinary Authority hereby CERTIFIES, in respect of the consignment of laboratory animals intended for research, as described above, that:

1. Los animales han sido criados y alojados durante toda su vida, hasta el momento de la exportación, en unas instalaciones que forman parte de una institución científica acreditada en Australia, bajo supervisión veterinaria en dicho establecimiento./

The animals were bred and housed for their lifetime, until export, in a facility that is part of a bona fide scientific institution in Australia under veterinary supervision at the establishment.

2. No se han observado signos clínicos ni indicios de ningún otro tipo de enfermedad infecciosa, contagiosa o parasitaria en la colonia durante los últimos 12 meses./

There has been no clinical or other evidence of infectious or contagious disease or parasitic disease in the colony during the past 12 months.

3. Los animales fueron inspeccionados por un veterinario colegiado en las 48 horas previas a la exportación. En el momento de la inspección, los animales no presentaban signos clínicos de ectoparásitos ni de enfermedades infecciosas o contagiosas, y se consideraron aptos para el viaje./

The animals were inspected by a registered veterinarian, within 48 hours prior to export. At the time of inspection, the animals showed no clinical signs of ectoparasites, infectious or contagious disease and were found fit to travel.

4. El material de lecho que se utilizará durante el transporte es absorbente, está libre de sustancias químicas tóxicas o nocivas y fue esterilizado antes de ser colocado en los contenedores para su transporte a la República Argentina./

The bedding material to be used during transport is absorbent, free from toxic or harmful chemical substances and was sterilised before being placed in the containers for transportation to the Argentine Republic.

5. Los animales serán transportados en contenedores que han sido limpiados y desinfectados antes de su uso, de conformidad con el Reglamento de la IATA sobre animales vivos./

The animals will be transported in containers that have been cleaned and disinfected prior to use and in accordance with IATA Live Animals Regulations.

Permission to move animals out of Australia

You may need permission under wildlife trade laws to move certain animals out of Australia. Refer to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water’s International wildlife trade requirements. There is specific guidance for non-commercial wildlife trade for public exhibition, scientific research, conservation breeding and personal use.
