I,…………………………………, being an official veterinarian of the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, Government of Australia certify that:

  1. The fish in this consignment have been exported from a quarantine approved premises (QAP) approved by the Australian Department of Agriculture and Water Resources where the fish are subject to  health inspections by an official inspector.

  2. The fish in this consignment have been imported into Australia pursuant to current import health standards for freshwater ornamental fish as imposed by the Australian Department of Agriculture and Water Resources.

  3. The fish in the consignment have undergone.............. days quarantine period in an approved ornamental fish quarantine premises (QAP) pursuant to import requirements of the Australian Department of Agriculture and Water Resources for freshwater ornamental fish, and were inspected by an official inspector within 72 hours of export and found to be free of any signs of contagious or infectious disease.

  4. In the period of quarantine referred to in point 3, fish in the consignment have not come into contact with any fish with a different health status.

  5. The fish are consigned direct from Australia to Vanuatu in new and/or clean sealed containers.

Special conditions

Fish exported to Vanuatu require an import permit.
