Note
Where an importing country issues an import permit, the exporter must ensure the animal meets any requirements in the permit.

Health requirements

There is a Model veterinary health certificate for non-commercial movement in the Republic of Macedonia of dogs, cats and ferrets and this must be issued by an official veterinarian or authorised veterinarian endorsed by the competent authority.

It is the responsibility of the exporter to ensure that the health certificate is current and that this and any declarations are in English and, where required, the official language of the importing country.

Australian Departmental officers will not endorse health certification for dogs, cats and ferrets destined to the Republic of North Macedonia if only presented in a language other than English.
