- The birds shall originate from farms where Newcastle disease, pullorum disease, and fowl cholera have not occurred during the previous year, and psittacosis and infectious coryza have not occurred in the past 6 months. The birds shall have been resident in the farm for at least one month. The birds shall have been inspected and found free from clinical evidence of any communicable disease and have not been in contact with any other bird prior to shipment.
- The birds were not vaccinated with vaccines that have not been approved.
- Fresh eggs which are not for breeding purposes, are infertile.
