Importing country requirements
It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure that the animal meets the importing country requirements.
An import permit is required.
Information about the process required to import animals into the Cayman Islands can be found on the
Cayman Islands Department of Agriculture website.

- Where an importing country issues an import permit, the exporter must ensure the animal meets any requirements in the permit.
This information applies only to pet cage birds such as parrots, budgerigars, canaries etc. and does not apply to poultry, pigeons or game birds.
