Importing country requirements
It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure that the animal meets the importing country requirements.
Pet rabbits imported from Australia to Canada require an import permit, health certificate and quarantine in Canada. The importation of live rabbits for commercial purposes is currently prohibited.

Refer to this and the Department’s websites for current information about importing animals (including any suspensions).
