General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Permitted entry without an accompanying phytosanitary certificate.

Faba beans are prescribed grains and still require an Authorised Officer inspection and the issuance of an export permit.

Treatment

​Consignment must be treated prior to export as per USDA treatment manual T101-c-2, or T101-d-2.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
