General Requirements

​Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.​Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A 2% sample shall be taken and be cut for the absence of Sternochetus mangiferae.

IMPORT PERMITS

An import permit is not required to be sighted at either inspection or issuance of export certification BUT is required by Saudi Arabia on arrival.

If the import permit is not available the Phytosanitary certificate is to be issued with the import permit section completed as NOT SUPPLIED.

When exporting product prior to issuance of an import permit exporters are responsible for seeking confirmation of importing country conditions prior to seeking authorisation of product for export.​
