Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.This ICR applies to:
- Acrocomia spp
- Ravenea rivularis
- Hyophorbe verschaffelti
- Chamaerops spp
- Linospadix spp seeds
- Certain Dypsis spp seeds - see the MPI Plants Biosecurity Index for details
- Chamaedorea seifrizii seed
Seed covered in a fleshy pericarp will not be permitted entry into New Zealand.
New
Zealand requires complete scientific name (genus and species) on the
phytosanitary certificate. The exporter must specify the complete
scientific name (genus and species) when raising a RFP.
Explanation of Endorsement
- applies to product of Australian origin.
- Coconut cadang-cadang viroid is not known to occur in Australia. No supporting evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
