General Requirements

Original and official translation of the Import permit must be presented to the AQIS inspector at the time of inspection.

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

An additional declaration may be required for those fruits where waxes are applied as a conditioning treatment. Full details of the type of wax applied must be stated as an
additional declaration on the Phytosanitary certificate.
