Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
Original and official translation of the Import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of making appointment.
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Broad bean stain virus is not known to occur in Australia. Freedom from this pest can be endorsed without supporting documents.
Phytosanitary sampling and inspection procedures address the additional declaration statements pertaining to Bruchid beetles (Bruchus spp.).
A representative sample must be tested in the laboratory for endorsing freedom from Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci). Alternatively the exporter may present area freedom certificate or crop inspection report for endorsing freedom from Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci).

1) Broad bean stain virus is known not to occur in Australia.
2) Using official procedures the consignment is found free from Bruchid beetles (Bruchus spp.) and Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci).
