Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection. Prunus necrotic ringspot
virus (PNRSV) is not on the export pathway, freedom can be endorsed without
supporting evidence. A combination of phytosanitary sampling and inspection procedures and/or laboratory testing may be used to endorsing freedom from the following pests:
- Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum),
- Solenopsis invicta (Red imported fire ant),
- Russian knapweed (Centaurea repens).
A combination of laboratory testing, crop inspection report or area of production freedom may be used to endorsing freedom from Bacterial wilt of alfalfa (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. Insidiosus)
