General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection. 
​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Phytosanitary sampling and inspection procedures address the additional declaration statements pertaining to Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum), Solenopsis invicta (Red imported fire ant), Garden snail (Helix aspersa), Russian knapweed (Centaurea repens) and American leaf miner (Liriomyza trifolii). Alternatively, exporters may have a representative sample tested in a laboratory for Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum) and Russian knapweed (Centaurea repens).

​​Crop inspection report or laboratory analysis must be presented to endorse freedom from Nematodes (Longidorous spp).
