General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.​It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

2) Brulure (Eutypa lata), Brown rot (Monilinia fructicola), Apple anthracnose (Pezicula malicorticis), Twig blight: lilac (Phytophthora syringae), Ink disease (Phytophthora cambivora) and Apple stem grooving virus (ASPV) are known not to occur in the area of production,
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Fruit fly (Bactrocera macquart and Ceratitis macleay), Woolly apple aphid (Eriosoma lanigerum), Apple mussel scale (Lepidosaphes Ulmi), Fullers rose weevil (Pantomorus cervinus), Japanese beetle (Popillia japonica) and Apple scab (Venturia inaequalis).
