General Requirements

This ICR applies to consignments for research and testing purposes only.​​

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Original and official translation of the Import permit must be presented to the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources Authorised Officer at the time of making appointment.
 
Exporter to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Department of Agriculture and Water resources Authorised Officer at time of inspection.​

 
Pests and diseases of Quarantine concern are:

 
  • Ambrosia beetle (Platypus spp)
  • Citrus canker ​(Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citri)
  • Rhagoletis spp
  • Fruit fly (Ceratitis spp)
  • Fruit fly (Bactrocera spp)
  • Fruit fly (Dacus spp)
And any other phytosanitary pests according to Chinese law.

1) Rhagoletis spp​ is known not to occur in Australia.​

2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Fruit fly (Bactrocera spp), Fruit fly (Ceratitis spp), Fruit fly (Dacus spp), Ambrosia beetle (Platypus spp),
3) The cuttings have been sourced from an area free from citrus canker ​(Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citri). ​
