General Requirements

​​Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.​

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

​Explanation of the endorsement:
  • ​Only required if indicated on the import permit.​
  • Visual inspection is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Dodder (Cuscuta spp) and Corn thrips (Limothrips cerealium).
  • A laboratory analysis certificate is required for endorsing freedom from Brown root rot (Phellinus noxius)​ and Bermudagrass mite (Eriophyes cynodoniensis).
