General Requirements

​Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

​Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 5040:
  • ​Peanut stripe virus is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.

Treatment

The seeds are to be treated with an appropriate seed dressing at recommended manufacturers requirements prior to packing.
​
Consignments are to be treated with an approved fumigant at recommended manufacturer's requirements 14 days prior to export.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
