General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

ICR refers to processed plant based stockfeed.

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Consignments are to be accompanied with original import permit.

The Bahrani Veterinary Organisation may issue an import permit requiring a veterinary health certificate issued by the department. Please contact the Grain and Seed Exports Program for obtaining a Veterinary Health Certificate to meet Bahrani import permit requirements.

Consignments are to be accompanied with original Country of Origin and, if applicable, veterinary health certificate.
 
Explanation of endorsement
  • This Endorsement applies to all consignments even when the additional declaration requirement is not specifically stated on the import permit.
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from hemp seeds (Cannabis spp) and poppy seeds (Papaver spp).
