The availability of some export certification may be affected due to the detections of notifiable avian influenza in Victoria in July and August 2020. Please refer to the latest Market Access Advice issued for the most up-to-date information on currently affected certificates. To obtain a copy, please email exportstandards@awe.gov.au.

For eggs and egg products to Hong Kong, use EX46EG (EXDOC) with endorsement 3945 or EX46 (manual certificate) with the following endorsement:

The eggs or egg products described above:
  1. were produced, sourced and processed in a state or territory free from avian influenza as defined in the OIE (World Organisation for Animal Health) Terrestrial Animal Health Code, or in a zone approved by Hong Kong as eligible for export.
  2. were produced by healthy birds in an area where Newcastle Disease, Fowl Cholera and Fowl Pest  are not prevalent and, in accordance with Australia's National Residue Survey for eggs and egg products, do not contain harmful levels of foreign substances or chemicals.
