Port of entry requirements
The semen must be accompanied by an official Health Certificate bearing the stamp of the Government issuing authority.
Health certificate
1. The donor bulls were resident at the time of collection at an Approved Artificial Breeding Centre registered by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service and licensed by (INSERT NAME).
2. The donor bulls are free from Tuberculosis, Brucellosis, Leptospirosis, Campylobacteriosis (vibriosis), Trichomoniasis, Paratuberculosis (Johne's disease) and Enzootic bovine leucosis.
3. To the best of my knowledge and based on the certifications given above this semen is free from infectious and contagious diseases.
4. The semen has been examined during processing at the Approved Artificial Breeding Centre and found to be of good fertility.
5. The donor bulls are free from any evidence of genetic defects.
Special conditions
The donor animals must be resident at an Approved Artificial Breeding Centre registered by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service and licensed by the relevant State/Territory Government authority.
The semen must be of good fertility.
The donors are to be free from any evidence of genetic defects.
