HEALTH CERTIFICATION

 
Rats, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits for research or for laboratory purposes only.

The consignment must be accompanied by:

a. Original import permit obtained from:

b. Declaration by owner/operator of breeding colony of origin
(i) Colony is regularly monitored for the presence of diseases and parasites with negative results.
(ii) The laboratory animals for export are free of all internal and external parasites including coccidiosis.
(iii) The laboratory animals for export are healthy and fit to travel.
(iv) The animals are packed in new boxes.

C. Health certificate by a Government Veterinary Officer
(i) He/she is familiar with the colony of origin, and that it is maintained in a high state of management, and regularly monitored for disease with negative results.
(ii) The animals were examined within 48 hours of export and show no obvious signs of clinical disease.
(iii) He has no reason to doubt the owners declarations.
