General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Laboratory test analysis report is to be cited for certifying freedom from Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) and Bacterial blight of pea (Pseudomonas syringae pv.pisi). Alternatively, the exporter may present area freedom certificate or crop inspection report for endorsing freedom from Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) and Bacterial blight of pea (Pseudomonas syringae pv.pisi).

Phytosanitary sampling and inspection procedures address the additional declaration statements pertaining to Bruchid beetles (Bruchus spp) and American serpentine leafminer (Liriomyza trifolii).
