General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

The exporter is to provide any combination of Laboratory Test Certificate, Crop Inspection Report and Area Freedom certificate for endorsing freedom from Bacterial wilt of dahlia (Erwinia chrysanthemi), Nematodes (Meloidogyne spp, Radopholus similis, Paratrichodorus spp, Trichodorus spp and Xiphinema spp), Downy mildew (spp) and Sugarcane gumming disease (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv vasculorum).

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) Pineapple eye rot (Cephalosporium sacchari) and Maize chlorotic mottle virus are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Sorghum midge (Contarinia sorghicola), Ragweed (Ambrosia spp) and Johnson grass (Sorghum halepense),
3) Using official procedures, the consignment was found free from Bacterial wilt of dahlia (Erwinia chrysanthemi), Nematodes (Meloidogyne spp, Radopholus similis, Paratrichodorus spp, Trichodorus spp and Xiphinema spp), Downy mildew (Peronosclerospora spp) and Sugarcane gumming disease (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv vasculorum).
