General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Pests of concern to China are;

  • Root knot nematode (Meloidogyne Goeldi)
  • Dwarf bunt of wheat (Tilletia controversa)
  • Burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis)
  • Plant parasitic nematode (Anguina Agrostis)
  • Golden cyst nematode (Globodera pallida)
  • Potato cyst nematode (Globodera rostochiensis)
  • Other quarantine pests stipulated by the laws of the people's Republic of China
​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Restricted entry: consignments are only to be imported through Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
