General Requirements

Original and official translation of the Import permit must be presented to the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources Authorised Officer at the time of making appointment.

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Exporter to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement No 1072)
1) Fiveangled dodder (Cuscuta pentagona) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Bacterial wilt (Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens pv flaccumfaciens) and Bacterial blight of pea (Pseudomonas syringae pv. pisi),
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Cowpea weevil (Callosobruchus maculates), Australian dodder (Cuscuta australia), Dodder (Cuscuta chinensis) and Australian spider beetle (Ptinus tectus).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement No 548)
1) Root rot (Phymatorichopsis omnivore), Citrus weevil (Diaprepes abreviatus), Mexican grain beetle (Pharaxonotha kirschi), Greater Grain Borer (Prostephanus Truncatus),  and
Mexican bean weevil (Zabrotes subfasciatus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Bacterial wilt (Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens pv flaccumfaciens), Bacterial blight of pea (Pseudomonas syringae pv. pisi) and Hallo blight on bean pods (Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. Phaseolicola),
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Burchid beetles (Bruchus spp), Cowpea weevil (Callosobruchus phaseoli), Cowpea weevil (Callosobruchus maculates) and Australian spider beetle (Ptinus tectus).


Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement No 587)
1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Bacterial wilt (Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens pv flaccumfaciens), Hallo blight on bean pods (Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. Phaseolicola) and Bacterial blight of pea (Pseudomonas syringae pv. pisi),
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Burchid beetles (Bruchus spp) and Australian spider beetle (Ptinus tectus).
