​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Explanation of the endorsement:

  • Freedom from Tomato canker (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis) has to be endorsed through laboratory testing of a representative sample of the consignment.
  • Visual inspection may be used for certifying freedom from American serpentine leaf miner (Liriomyza trifolii) and Subgen spp. Acnida L.
  • Freedom from Tomato ringspot virus, Tobacco ringspot virus and Tomato black ring virus are not known to occur in Australia and can be without citing evidence.
  • Fruitfly (Ceratitis spp), Fruitfly (Bactrocera spp), Stem canker of soybean (Diaporthe phaseolorum var. caulivora), Soybean stem canker (Diaporthe phaseolorum var. meridionalis), Bacterial wilt of dahlia (Erwinia chrysanthemi), root rot nematode (Meloidogyne spp.), Blue mold (Personospora hyoscyami f.sp. tabacina), Tomato spotted wilt virus, Crown and root rot (Verticillium dahlia), and Nematode (Xiphinema) are not seedborne in Capsicum spp. Freedom from these pest can be endorsed without citing evidence.
