General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Original and official translation of the Import permit must be presented to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at the time of making appointment.

Exporter to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

The following is able to be certified without supporting evidence:
Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa)
Wheat eyespot (Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides)

Phytosanitary sampling and inspection procedures address the additional declaration statements pertaining to Granary weevil (Sitophilus granarius), Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum), Sorghum (Sorghum almum) and Johnson grass (Sorghum halepense).

Alternatively, exporters may have a representative sample tested in a laboratory for Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum), Sorghum (Sorghum almum) and Johnson grass (Sorghum halepense)

- Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides (Fron) Deighton;
- Sitophilus granarius Linnaeus.
