Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Explanation of endorsementsEndorsement 7050:- Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa) is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
- The authorised officer visually inspect the representative sample to ensure that the consignments are free of live insects and Canada's regulated weed seeds.
Note:- Import conditions may vary from Province to Province. Exporter must obtain the import permit and send a copy to the Grain and Seed Exports Program (Grain.Export@awe.gov.au) if the import conditions are different from those listed on MICoR.
