General Requirements

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Endorsement 3887:
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile).
  • A crop inspection certificate is required to endorse freedom from Mouse-ear hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella), Perennial thistle (Cirsium avense), Wild turnip (Brassica tournefortii), Bacterial wilt of alfalfa (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. Insidiosus), Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa). 
Endorsement 3881:
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile).
  • A crop inspection certificate is required to endorse freedom from Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa).
  • A laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Perennial thistle (Cirsium avense), Wild turnip (Brassica tournefortii), Mouse-ear hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella) and Bacterial wilt of alfalfa (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. insidiosus).
  • The statement "OFFICIAL LABORATORY ANALYSIS NUMBER (NUMBER) / DATE (DATE)" can be entered in the "Additional product description field" section of the EXDOC Request for Permit (RFP) if required. There is to be no deviation from this text format. To enable the field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant Program via (EXDOCPlantPrograms@awe.gov.au).

3) The consignment was found to be free by official laboratory testing of Perennial thistle (Cirsium avense), Wild turnip (Brassica tournefortii), Mouse-ear hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella) and Bacterial wilt of alfalfa (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. insidiosus).
