General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Phytosanitary visual inspection may be used for endorsing freedom from Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variable).

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsements 3881, 3981, 7006 and 7022:

If required the statement "OFFICIAL LABORATORY ANALYSIS NUMBER (NUMBER) / DATE (DATE)" can be entered in the "Additional product description field" section of the EXDOC Request for Permit (RFP). There is to be no deviation from this text format. To enable the field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant program via (EXDOCPlantPrograms@agriculture.gov.au).

1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile),
2) The shipment comes from a crop that was officially inspected during the growing period at the proper time to detect any pests and was found to be free of Mouse-ear hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella), Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense), Wild turnip (Brassica tournefortii), Bacterial wilt of alfalfa (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. Insidiosus), Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa).

1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile),
2) The shipment comes from a crop that was officially inspected during the growing period at the proper time to detect any pests and was found to be free of Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor), Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa),
3) The consignment was found to be free by official laboratory testing of Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense), Wild turnip (Brassica tournefortii), Mouse-ear hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella) and Bacterial wilt of alfalfa (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. insidiosus).

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 3981)
1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile),
