Where an importing country issues an import permit, the exporter must ensure the animal meets any requirements in the permit.

1. ​2.1 The semen has been collected from animals that have remained in a semen collection center (SCC) authorized and supervised by the Competent Official Authority of Australia for export and has been authorized by the Official Veterinary Service of Ecuador. /

2. 2.2 The semen to be exported has been collected, handled and treated in an establishment in accordance with the provisions of the current WOAH Terrestrial Animal Health Code and under the supervision of a veterinarian designated for this purpose by the Official Competent Authority of Australia. /

3. 3.3 During the 30 days prior to the collection of the semen to be exported to Ecuador, the donors were kept in isolation prior to entry and were not corralled, herded or kept with animals that did not have the same health status or subjected to restrictions that would have disqualified them for export to Ecuador. /

4. 3.4 The donor animals were periodically examined by the veterinarian of the semen collection center (SCC) and no clinical signs of semen-transmissible diseases from the WOAH list were observed during their stay at the SCC, including on the day or the days of semen collection. /
