Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Treatment
Treatment
If wooden packaging is to be used it must be treated using one of the below treatments:
- Fumigated with Methyl bromide at 48 grm/m3 for 24 hours at 10 degree Celsius or above;
OR
- Heat treated at 56 degree Celsius core temperature for 30 minutes.
The treatment details are not to be endorsed on phytosanitary certificate.The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
