Note

Where an importing country issues an import permit, the exporter must ensure the animal meets any requirements in the permit.

Only animals accompanied by an import permit and health certificate may be imported into French Polynesia.

II.2. Fish in the consignment were subjected to pre export batch testing according with the OIE Manual of Diagnostic Tests for Aquatic Animals or most recent peer reviewed scientific agreed method and found to be free from /

Les poissons de l'envoi ont été soumis à des tests par lot avant l'exportation conformément au Manuel des tests de diagnostic pour les animaux aquatiques de l'OIE ou à la méthode scientifique approuvée la plus récente évaluée par des pairs et se sont révélés exempts de:

A- infection with red sea bream iridovirus / Infection par l'iridovirus de la daurade japonaise

B- infection with Aphanomyces invadans (epizootic ulcerative syndrome) / Infection à Aphanomyces invadans (Syndrome ulcératif épizootique)

and / et

C- viral nervous necrosis caused by Nodavirus / nécrose nerveuse virale causée par Nodavirus;

II.3- All fish in the consignment were bred and reared in Australia /

II.4- Fish in the consignment were sourced from an establishment not associated with any significant infectious disease or pests and where there have not been any unusual mortality during the past 6 months prior to export for which the cause could not be confirmed /

Les poissons exportés provenaient d'un établissement ou d'une zone non associés à des maladies infectieuses ou des parasites importants et où il n'y a pas eu de mortalité inhabituelle au cours des 6 derniers mois précédant l'exportation pour laquelle la cause n'a pu être confirmée;

II.5- Fish in the consignment are free of clinical signs of infectious and contagious disease and have no visible evidence of skin disease. /

II.6- Fish in the consignment are of a sufficient age to identify the species /

II.7- Fish in the consignment were not subject to any veterinary restriction or prohibition due to unexplained mortality /

II.8- Fish in the consignment were suitable for transport by air /

II.9- Containers used for transporting the live fish in the consignment were either new or have been cleaned and disinfected prior to use and are suitable for the continual health of fish during transport. /

You may need permission under wildlife trade laws to move aquatic animals out of Australia. Refer to the Department's International and wildlife trade requirements.

Export from Australia of Australian native hatchery bred fingerlings or ova should be accompanied by approval of the hatchery facility from the appropriate State or Federal authority.
