Special conditions
The Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans has no fish health importation requirements for aquarian fish. There are regulations enforced by the Canadian Department of the Environment - Fisheries and Wildlife Service which restrict the importation of species listed under the Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) or National Endangered Species Legislation.
