General Requirements

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Treatment

Consignments are to be treated with appropriate fungicide and insecticide or fumigant according to manufacturer's label rates.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 3200)
1) Rough leaf spot of sorghum (Ascochyta sorghi), Sorghum downy mildew (Personosclerospora sorghi) and Larger grain borer (Prostephanus truncate) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) The crop was inspected during active growth and found to be free of Black kernel of rice (Cochliobolus lunatus), Root rot (Sphacelotheca spp), Long smut of sorghum (Tolyposporium ehrenbergii), Bacterial blight (Pseudomonas syringae), Xanthomonas wilt (Xanthomonas campestris pv. holicola) and Bacterial leaf blotch (Xanthomonas rubrisorghi),
3) A representative sample was inspected and found to be free of Grain moth (Sitotrogaelella cerelella), Red flour beetle (Tribolium castaneum) and Indian meal moth (Plodia interpunctella).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 3201)

2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Black kernel of rice (Cochliobolus lunatus), Root rot (Sphacelotheca spp), Long smut of sorghum (Tolyposporium ehrenbergii), Bacterial blight (Pseudomonas syringae), Xanthomonas wilt  (Xanthomonas campestris pv. holicola) and Bacterial leaf blotch (Xanthomonas rubrisorghi),
3) A representative sample was inspected and found to be free of Grain moth (Sitotrogaelella cerelella), Red flour beetle (Tribolium castaneum) and Indian meal moth (Plodia interpunctella).
