Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material. 
 

​It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.


All in-vitro plantlets must be grown in clear media in sealed vessels made of clear plastic or glass.

The plants must be tested for evidence of viral diseases using appropriate testing methodology and a copy of the results presented to the authorised officer.

Phytosanitary certificates must include botanical names and hybrids as stated in the Import permit.

The product will be inspected at the port of entry and may be subject to treatment.

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) The "in-vitro plantlets" have been cultured on growing medium free from antibiotics and charcoal,
2) The mother plant or plantlets have been pathogen tested and found free from viral diseases.
