General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

All cuttings in the consignment are to be free from roots.
​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) Koa seedworm (Cryptophlebia illepide), Citrus whitefly (Dialeurodes citri), Tea twig caterpillar (Ectropis bhurmitra), Drywood termite (Postelectrotermes militaris), Jack Beardsley mealybug (Pseudococcus jackbeardsleyi), Pod sucking bug (Riptortus dentipes), Two-spotted leafhopper (Sophonia rufofascia) and Asian ambrosia beetle (Xylosandrus crasslusculus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) Blight (Mycosphaerella buckinghamiae, Mycosphaerella konae, Mycosphaerella leucospermi, Mycosphaerella telopeae, Mycosphaerella waimeana), Leaf spot (Phyllosticta telopeae), Phaeophleospora protearum, Pseudocercospora agharkarii, Phaeophleospora concentrica, Leptosphaeria leucadendri and Scab (Elsinoe fecunda) are known not to occur in the area of production,
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Caster semilooper (Achaea janata), Spiralling whitefly (Aleurodicus destructor), Banana spotting bug (Amblypelta lutescens), Whitefly (Aleurodicus disperses), Banana spotting bug (Amblypelta nitida), Leafroller (Amorbia emigratella), Yellow peach moth (Conogethes punctiferalis), Macadamia nut borer (Cryptophlebia ombrodelta), Elimaea punctifera, Tea tortrix (Homona coffearia).
