General Requirements

​Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

The following dried and dehydrated fruits are permitted for export under this case:
  • Apples (Malus spp.)
  • Apricots, cherries, nectarines, peaches and plums/prunes (Prunus spp.)
  • Banana chips (Musa spp.)
  • Black currants (Ribes spp.)
  • Blackberries and raspberries (Rubus spp.)
  • Cape gooseberry (Physalis spp.)
  • Coconut chips/desiccated (Cocos spp.)
  • Cranberries and blueberries (Vaccinium spp.)
  • Dates (Phoenix spp.)
  • Figs (Ficus spp.)
  • Goji berries (Lycium spp.)
  • Jujube (Ziziphus spp.)
  • Kiwifruit (Actinidia spp.)
  • Kumquat (Fortunella spp.)
  • Mangos (Mangifera spp.)
  • Melons (Cucumis spp.)
  • Mulberries (Morus spp.)
  • Orange (Citrus spp.)
  • Papaya (Carica spp.)
  • Passionfruit/granadilla (Passiflora spp.)
  • Pears (Pyrus spp.)
  • Persimmon (Diospyros spp.)
