Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
Singapore AVA have confirmed that a Phytosanitary certificate is not required to accompany consignments of hay imported from Australia.
Exporters are to note that if the hay is of a prescribed type - a pasture plant, or any of the cereal plants wheat,oat, barley, rye or triticale, that is cut and dried (not including chaff) - it shall be subject to the appropriate conditions that apply to enable the Export permit to be issued
