General requirements
Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
ICR applies to all species except Banana, Cocoa, Cassava, Citrus, Coconut, Coffee, Cotton, Maize, Oilpalm, Pineapple, Rice, Rubber, Sugarcane and Tea
All consignment must be exported in transparent containers
Evidence of parent stock indexing for viruses, applicable to the species being exported, is to be provided to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at the time of inspection
All consignments will be subject to Post entry inspection, at premises pre-approved by AVA Singapore.
Exporter is provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at time of inspection.
It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure the consignment is exported within 14 days of inspection and the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.
Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.
