General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Exporters must confirm with the Philippines Department of Agriculture if an import permit (SPS Import Clearance) is required for the consignment. If required, copy of the import permit must be presented to the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources Authorised Officer at the time of making the appointment.

A phytosanitary certificate is still required if an import permit is not issued.
