General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

​Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
The cuttings must be free from leaves.

Any substrate used to pack the cuttings must be free from pests.
The packaging must be new and clean.

The cuttings will be subject to 8 months post entry quarantine. 

​Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Treatment

Consignments are to be treated prior to export with an appropriate fungicide which is registered with the APVMA, and and a Sodium hypochlorite (1%) solution.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) The cuttings are sourced from parent plants known to be free from Mango bud mite (Aceria mangiferae), Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv syringae) and Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv mangiferaeindicae),
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of California red scale (Aonidiella auranti), Scale (Aonidiella citrinia), Canker of almonds (Botryosphaeria dothidea), Ornamental flat mite (Brevipalpus obovatus), Indian white wax scale (Ceroplastes ceriferus), Red wax scale (Ceroplastes rubens), Mango scab (Elsinoe mangiferae), Fruit rot (Guignardia mangiferae), Egyptian fluted scale (Icerya aegyptiaca), Seychelles scale (Icerya seychellarum), Pink hibiscus mealybug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus), Mite (Neocalacarus mangiferae), Yellow mealybug (Nipaecoccus viridis), Olive scale (Parlatoria oleae), Grapevine scale (Parthenolecanium persicae), Magnolia white scale (Pseudaulacaspis cockerelli), Strawberry thrips (Scirtothrips dorsalis), and Melon thrips (Thrips palmi) and Verticillium tricorpus.
3) Any substrate used in packaging the cuttings is free from pests.
