Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Note: The import permit may state that an additional declaration is required stating that the parent plants where the seeds were obtained were inspected in field during active growth and found free from all pests and diseases of quarantine concern. This is considered to be covered by a standard phytosanitary certificate - no additional declaration is required.
