General Requirements

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Consignment may consist of:


25cm maximum size potted plants (including pot) on authorised growing medium (peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, pine bark or cocopeat plugs)

OR


Bare rooted plants - cleaned and free from soil

Treatment

Consignment is to be treated with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide by dipping

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
