General requirements
Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
The import permit may state there is no requirement for a phytosanitary certificate. In this case the goods may be exported without a phytosanitary certificate, and on arrival the inspection authority may draw samples for testing. Please refer to import permit conditions.
Broad beans are not prescribed grains. If no phytosanitary certificate is needed, no Authorised Officer inspection and issuance of an export permit is required for the consignment.
