Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material..
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Basal stem rot (Ganoderma lucidum) is not on seed export pathway and freedom from this pest can be endorsed without citing an evidence.
Refer to the import permit while selecting an Endorsement. Import permits sighted in which there is no specific pest or diseases endorsement required are to be issued with Nil Additional Declaration.
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Treatment
Consignments are to be treated with approved insecticide and/or fungicide at manufacturer's label rates (registered label rates). Refer to the import permit to determine the required treatments.
